2 cups Sweet Potatoes,1/4 cup Pearl onions (Sambar Onions) – finely chopped,3 cloves Garlic,1 cup Tamarind Water,2 tablespoons Jaggery,2 Tomatoes – finely chopped,1 Green Chilli – slit,1 sprig Curry leaves,1 teaspoon Sambar Powder,1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder,1/8 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi),Salt – to taste Oil for cooking,1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds,1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera),1/2 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing),1 sprig Curry leaves,2 sprig Coriander (Dhania) Leaves – finely chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1.
